Serves four
Ingredients
- 400 grams Grated Cheddar Cheese
- 200 grams Cream Cheese
- 250 grams cooked Macaroni
- 1 egg
- A pinch of salt
- A table spoon of good quantity Piccalilli (large pieces of pickle cut up)
- 75 grams butter
- 200 grams of coarse white breadcrumbs
Method
- Melt the cheddar in a large pan then add the cream cheese and allow to cool a little before adding the beaten egg and a pinch of salt.
- Stir in the cooked macaroni which can be warm as in just cooked.
- Pour into an ovenproof serving dish.
- Melt the butter and stir in the breadcrumbs mix well so they all get covered with butter. Spread the mix over the macaroni mix evenly.
- Bake in the oven at 160 for 35 minutes and serve
